The Salt Lake Community College/Mountain Hoops Showcase saw 85 kids from six states play in front of 10 college coaches from across the country. In this article I will be highlighting some of the top 2020 and 2019 kids at the showcase.

2019 Guard 6'1 Kordell Welch (Mountain Crest) might be one of the most under the radar 2019 kids in Utah. Had a huge first seven games last season before his season was ended by injury. I expect  Welch to average between 15 and 20 points per game in 4A for Mountain Crest this season.
2019 Guard 5'11 Alerk Greenhalgh (Timpview) quick guard that is shifty with the ball. I liked how he was able to get into the paint and finish over opposing big guys.
2019 Guard 5'8 David Stevenson (Bountiful) is an undersized guard who is able to pull up from deep on defenders and is pretty consistent. I like his high basketball IQ and he will help Bountiful this year.
2019 Wing 6'7 Dyson Frank (Jordan) is a big wing that is improving his guard skills which will make Frank one of the top wings in the class of 2019. He is very strong and few high school kids can guard his on his drives to the hoop.
2019 Forward 6'6 Trevon Allfrey (Copper Hills) as always, showed he is one of the elite shooters in the state of Utah. Allfrey is a player to watch as he could end up going low D1, D2 or even going Juco.
2019 Guard 6'2 Raimoana Tinirauarii (Juan Diego) is a smooth guard with an extremely high basketball IQ. I think Tiniraurii has a chance of playing at the D1 level with his ability to make everyone around him better and he can create his own shot.
2019 Guard 6'2 Hayden Blonquist (North Summit) had as good of a showcase as anyone regardless of class. He is a high level athlete who had a couple of highlight dunks. I also like his pull jumper as he can raise above opposing defenders.
2019 Guard 6'0 Adrian Wilde (Skyline) is a quick shifty guard that is able to make difficult shots. I think he has a chance to be a pretty good player. Wilde is a lower level college prospect.
2020 Guard 6'1 Brox Ashby (Hillcrest) is an excellent passer who sees the floor well. He also is quick and can get by defenders and score. Ashby also can shoot it from deep and will build on a great freshman year at Hillcrest.
2020 Guard 6'2 Nathan Maiava (Kearns) is a very good passer and with his size and athletic ability he is able to get into the paint and create for others. I like the way Maiava plays defense as well and I think he will help a talented Kearns team this season.
2020 Guard Seena Namdar (Alta) is a very good shooter and has range well beyond the three line. I think he has a chance to help Alta this year as a knock down shooter.
2020 Guard Andre Owen Jr. (Highland) made several good moves to the hoops and found ways to finish. He could be a very solid guard for Highland going forward.
