Every high school in the state has now played a game. There was some big-time performers this week and we will highlight ten individuals  we  thought stood out.
Stone Hutchings 6'3 G 2020 (Copper Hills) Showed he is one of the best guards in the class of 2020 from the state of Utah. He averaged over 25 points per game in wins over talented Corner Canyon and Timpanogos. Hutchings needs to continue his strong play for Copper Hills to compete for a 6A title.

Caleb Koski 6'5 W 2020 (Intermountain Christian) scored 69 points in two games this past week including 9 threes. The competition wasn't as tough as many players on the list but Koski's week is still worthy of being on our list.

Jake Sampson 6'2 G 2020 (Davis) had an impressive week that was highlighted by a 31 point-9  three pointers performance in a win vs Bountiful. He followed that up with a solid 13 point game versus Wasatch Academy who is one of the top teams in the country.

Mark Huber 5'11 G 2020 (Bear River) averaged nearly 25 points per game in three games this week including 13 made threes. Huber is one of the more under the radar juniors in the state of Utah and  we expect a big-time season from him.

Dyson Koehler 6'6 W/F 2020 (Jordan) scored 30 points and grabbed six rebounds in a win at Granger. He already holds a D1 offer and he should see his recruitment pick up over the next 9 months. Koehler can defend multiple positions and can score from the inside and outside.

Marcus Sherwood 6'6 F 2019 (Providence Hall) averaged over 25 points and 13 rebounds per game in three games this week. He is the best big man at the 3A level and is a good small college prospect. Sherwood has a good motor and is skilled enough to score in multiple ways.

Tyler Roberts 6'5 W 2020 (Woods Cross) averaged nearly 20 points per game in two huge wins over Fremont and Skyline. Woods Cross will need Roberts to continue this production if they are going to compete for the Region 5 title.

Trevon Allfrey 6'8 F 2019 (Copper Hills) averaged over 18 points and 10 rebounds in two wins this week. He was able to knock down outside jumpers and also score in the paint. Allfrey is an underrated passer and is able to get guards open shots from block. He is a D-1/High D2 prospect.

Noah Smithson 6'2 G 2019 (Lone Peak) averaged 29 points 4 rebounds and 4 assists in two wins this past week. He didn't play much varsity as a junior but he is taking full advantage of his senior year. This is a player to watch as he could complement the talented Jaxon Pollard as one of the tougher duos in the state.

Matt Van Komen 7'4 C 2019 (Pleasant Grove) had 19 points and 8 rebounds in a big-time win over Olympus who hadn't lost in over a year. Van Komen recently signed his LOI to the University of Utah and is one of the best centers in the country.

Center Tyson Madson of Box Elder. Averaged 22 points and 10 boards in first two games despite the team giving up 20+ turnovers a game.

The young is always more beautiful than the old. The old is always wiser. The old is dying but the young will be the one left crying. It seems with whatever competition we try to challenge anyone including ourselves in, the old will always win. I am not sure if it's the same with women but I have a feeling by the time this happens, people would have changed their views already. People both young and old is going to look at older women as an authority.

Most men would complain when they feel their women loved and adored them more than they feel for them. I guess should you ever feel frustrated because you are unable to love me back the same way I want to love you forever, please just always remember that the reason why I am insanely devoted to you is because I was deeply indebted to you from our previous life. So please just accept this as something you really deserved because you have been a good man.
