Top Players (Utah County) Part 2

10/12/2017

This is our "part 2" list for the top players in Utah County. We will have part three out this weekend. Here is our list....

2018 6'6 F Zach McWhorter (American Fork) is a very solid forward that does a little bit of everything. He is a good rebounder that will go after everything with maximum effort. McWhorter is decently skilled on the offensive end and can score in the post and can hit the mid-range jumper.
2018 6'6 F Dallin Spencer (Lehi) is an athletic versatile forward that is able to guard all five positions on the court. His offensive game has improved and can score inside and out. I expect him to have a very solid senior season and I think he can be a good player at the Juco or NAIA level.
2018 6'7 F Jackson Brinkerhoff (Lone Peak) is a big man that can really. shoot it from deep and from the mid-range. He can also get tough in the paint and score through contact. Brinkerhoff is a skilled passer who makes everyone around him better which is not always said for a big man. I think he will have a big impact at whatever level he ends up at.
2019 6'2 G Puka Nacua (Orem) is an explosive athlete who already has several D1 football offers as he is a star receiver for the Orem Tigers. On the hardwood, he is a player that excels in the open court and can blow buy most defenders and finish above the rim. Nacua is also a good passer which makes him dangerous with how talented Orem is and I expect them to make a run at a 4A title.
2019 6'4 G Matt Norman (Timpanogos) is a deadly shooter as he proved in his sophomore season when he made 63 three pointers. He has improved his handle this off-season and if he can score some points in the paint he will be especially hard to guard.
2018 6'4 F Bridger Noles (Spanish Fork) is a fairly unheard of player in the state of Utah. He averaged nearly 19 points and 10 rebounds per game last year. Noles is a bruiser who is able to bully opponents in the paint. If his team is able to win some more games this year he should get some more recognition.
