Top Utah Performers at Jucos

Stockton Shorts 6'5 G Freshman (Snow College) the former Utah Mr. Basketball award winner had a huge weekend in two wins versus Northeastern Junior College and the Utah All-Starts. In the the wins Shorts averaged 22.5 points per game as he is proving to many 4-year coached that they missed on not offering him a scholarship.
Taylor Peppinger 6'0 G Freshman (Centraila College) Had a spectacular game this past weekend in the Lower Columbia Tournament. He went off for 33 points including nine three pointers! Peppinger is an exceptional shooter and if he can hone the other parts of his game he could be a difference maker at a 4-year school.
Mikey Hernandez 6'3 G Freshman (Columbia Basin College) had one of the best all-around games that NWAC has seen all year. He ended up with 22 points, 12 assists and 8 rebounds in a win at Pierce College. Hernandez is proving to be a good college player and he is a player to watch this year.
John Villanueva 6'6 F Freshman ( Central Wyoming College) had a nice game off the bench versus USU-Eastern with 10 points in just 12 minutes of action. He is proving to be a junk yard dog and I think his upside will land him at a 4-year school after he's done at Central.
Marqus Gilson 6'5 F Freshman (Centraila College) had a monster game with 23 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Mt Hood College. He dominated the pain area and was also able to blow by the opposing big which makes him a match up nightmare.
Bushmen Ebet 6'3 G Sophomore (Salt Lake CC) has been on a tear for the 10-0 and national ranked Salt Lake Community College Bruins. This past weekend he averaged nearly 16 points and 3 assists in two big wins at home.
